The radio drama by Iwona Rusek is set in September 1939, and its main characters are rich young people living in Warsaw. During the German attack on Poland, we can observe different attitudes towards the civic duty of defending the country. The differences are most clearly seen in the decisions of two sisters, one of whom, influenced by her fiancé, escapes from the city, while the other stays in Warsaw, where her beloved man is shot during the fighting.
The radio play included fragments of archival Polish Radiobroadcasts. In addition to popular music from the 1930s, we used modern sounds and electronic music.
