THE SUITCASE, M. SIKORSKA – MISZCZUK, Teatr Collegium Nobilium Warsaw

The Suitcase is a story about searching for an identity. Fransua doesn’t feel a complete human being. Accidentally, in the Museum of Holocaust, he finds his father’s suitcase. Now he is the son of a Jew murdered in Auschwitz. It starts his journey into his own soul.

The performance asked what really museums of Holocaust were. How we can face a memory about genocides, if we can’t prevent next ones?

It was also a spectacle about our difficult confrontation with history, which actually we always fail.

Grotesque took to the light that what was hidden in the unconsciousness.
