ROTTEN WOOD, W. BERENT, THE ZBIGNIEW RASZEWSKI THEATHRE INSTITUTE

Rotten Wood is a drama based on a novel by Wacław Berent, a Polish modernist writer. The author of the script, Iwona Rusek, focused on problems connected with being and becoming an actor. We are listening to a confession: Borowski, a young actor, is describing his relationship with his deceased father, who was an actor as well. While working on this stage reading, I tried to probe the source and nature of art.

The reading was accompanied by live music performed by Grzegorz Łapiński.
