“Each of us has three lives: a public life, a private life, and a secret life.” – G. Garcia Marquez
Inspired by this thought from the Latin American writer, the Weekend Acting School for Adults (WSAD) presented a performance exploring the multifaceted lives of contemporary people. Sometimes, those who appeared strong and confident at work transformed at home into fragile, overwhelmed individuals—or the reverse: a meek and obedient spouse became fierce and unpredictable in the workplace.
How many smiles hid inner sadness each day? How much joy did we conceal, fearing it might be taken away?
Through their characters, the performers invited the audience to reflect on the hidden dimensions of their own lives.
