Oh, My Goldfish is a charming story about a family of four who are going on holiday to the Baltic Sea. Eight-year-old Matylda and thirteen-year-old Janek discover that a goldfish swimming in an aquarium can talk. Unfortunately, Goldfish (previously a Prince, transformed by magic into a fish) refuses to fulfil the children’s wishes. Only at the persuasion of Mrs. Basia (the owner of the guesthouse and the fish) does he agree to grant one wish, provided that the children fulfil his three wishes first.
Closed in a water bottle, Goldfish experiences various adventures with the children. Hiding the magical powers of Goldfish from their parents, the children try to spend their holidays normally: they visit the horse farm, sunbathe, and go on a cruise. At the same time, they strive to fulfil Goldfish’s wishes: they are to find his beloved and find out who the mysterious man following all three of them is. In the end, the children are to release both fish into the sea and make their wish.
Oh, My Goldfish is an eight-episode audio series for children based on a script by Jacek Kalinowski.
